SKML’s tribute to our pioneer generation – the men and women who worked tirelessly so that we may live with greater comfort today. They toiled, sacrificed, and persevered to ensure that the younger generation could enjoy better opportunities in education, careers, and social life.
Through IN.VISIBLE, we honour them by affirming that they remain very much in our thoughts and truly visible to us. In other words, they are never invisible – but deeply valued and seen.

How IN.VISIBLE Started
OUR STORY
The initiative began in December 2021, at the height of Covid, when social isolation was taking its toll and our seniors were among the most vulnerable. As an organisation established in 1941, SKML recognises the invaluable contributions of these elders, whose efforts spared future generations the same hardships they endured.
IN.VISIBLE is our ongoing tribute programme. As of September 2025, we have personally visited more than 120 members, with visits continuing weekly. The initiative is led by SKML veteran Abul Hassan, supported by fellow Ex-Co members, as the SKML team engages with seniors in their warm and welcoming households.
