LEGACY OF SERVICES

Celebrating the Hands and Hearts Behind SKML

Honoring Our Volunteers

SKML was built on the vision of pioneers who saw the need to support Tamil Muslim families settling in Singapore. From the early days of the Muslim Improvement Club in 1926, to the founding of SKML in 1941, our journey has always been shaped by the dedication of volunteers.

These individuals gave their time, energy, and compassion — helping others find jobs, build families, and stay connected to their faith and culture. Many came from the Tenkasi and Kadayanallur communities, bringing not just their families, but their spirit of service.

Today, SKML stands strong because of them. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Without their hard work and heart-work, we would not be where we are.

This page is our humble tribute to those who have served — past and present. We honor your contributions, your sacrifices, and your unwavering commitment to our community.

If you notice any missing names or corrections, please email us at info@skml.sg so we can update the list with care and respect.
